Our story

At Art for All, art is more than a practice; it is a way of understanding the world, sharing histories, and finding healing. What began as a personal passion for design and creativity has grown into a collective commitment to the community, creating spaces where people of all ages can express themselves, feel seen, and rediscover their own voices.

Through years of working across the creative spectrum, from the intricacies of costume design to the joy of community-based teaching, our vision has remained clear: art is the bridge that connects us.

Our work is rooted in bilingual and culturally responsive experiences, centering Hispanic and underrepresented communities where access to the arts is often limited. By focusing on storytelling and hands-on creation, we build connections between generations and cultures. Whether in a classroom, a library, or a community space, every workshop is an invitation to imagine and transform. We believe that when creativity is nurtured, confidence grows, and our collective voice becomes stronger.

Joeanally González, Founder & Director

Joeanally González is a bilingual artist, educator, and community leader dedicated to using art as a tool for expression, healing, and cultural connection. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and Design of Puerto Rico and has a strong foundation in both creative practice and entrepreneurship, with studies in Theater Arts and Entrepreneurship at the University of Puerto Rico. She also earned a Fashion Design Certificate from Centromoda School of Design in San Juan, further shaping her multidisciplinary artistic approach. Her creative background includes work in the film industry and eight years at Walt Disney World as a costume design assistant, where she developed skills in design, storytelling, and large-scale creative production.

Now based in Portland, Oregon, Joeanally designs and leads culturally responsive art and STEAM programs for children, families, and adults, with a focus on Hispanic and low-income communities. Her work integrates storytelling, visual arts, and hands-on learning to foster creativity, confidence, and social-emotional growth. As a teaching artist and community organizer, she has led bilingual workshops, school-based programs, and community initiatives that center identity, cultural pride, and access to the arts. She is also a certified Recycling Master, incorporating environmental education into her curriculum by guiding participants to create art from recycled materials while promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Joeanally’s work is rooted in the belief that art can transform lives, strengthen communities, and create meaningful opportunities for connection, learning, and self-expression across generations. Her artwork can be viewed at https://joeanag.wixsite.com/arts.
